Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan makes debut for Cagliari in 2-0 defeat to AC Milan

Ghanaian International made his debut for Cagliari after sealing a loan move from Fiorentina last Sunday. Duncan was handed a start against AC Milan a day after completing his temporary move.

But it was a sad note for the Ghanaian International after seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbing brace to cause Cagliari their fifth straight Seria A defeats.

The former Sassuolo man was paired along with Răzvan Marin and Radja Nainggolan in a three man midfield.

The 26-year old impressed and lasted on the pitch for 69’ minute until he was replaced by Uruguayan International Christian Oliva as Cagliari continued to suffer 10th defeat of the season.

Thanks to 39-year old Ibrahimovic who made the most headlines in Milan’s victory at Cagliari.

Ibrahimovic made his long awaited return to league action after injury to help AC Milan regain sole ownership of top spot in Serie A.

A goal either side of half time from the 39 year old was all the Rossoneri needed to ensure that they returned to the mainland with all three points as well as condemning the Isolani to their fifth straight defeat in the league.

Ibrahimovic converted a first-half penalty and doubled his tally early in the second period.
