TP Mazembe and Al Ahly enter into huge transfer war for Hearts of Oak left-back Raddy Ovouka

Congo-Brazzaville international Raddy Ovouka Hokemba is being linked with a big-money move to TP Mazembe but Egyptian giants Al Ahly are bound to cause a roller coaster to the DR Congo giants.

The 21-year-old defender is currently plying his trade with the Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak and is considered a back-up and replacement for Joseph Ochaya and departed Ahmed Fathi at Lubumbashi and Cairo respectively.

But with his contract with the Phobians due to expire on June 30, Mazembe are reportedly lining up a $100,000 bid for the Hearts defender.

Futball Surgery understand that Egyptian heavyweights Ahly are planning to match TP Mazembe in pursuit for the top Congolese talent.

As quoted by Ducor Sports, Okouka will earn an estimated $7,000 monthly salary for the next three years at Mazembe and could be offered more than that $8,500 within the same period at Ahly.

Hearts of Oak were reportedly planning to avoid cashing in on the left-back. However, with Ovouka becoming a free man just few days around the corner (June 30), the Ghana Premier League outfits knee avoiding been handed a situation of gaining nothing if the Congolese International walk through to the doors at Accra Sports Stadium.

And have opened negotiations with the Ravens to sell Ovouka. It’s reckoned that agreement can be strike in few days ahead.

Al Ahly are also understood to reaching out to Hearts in an attempt to draw the GPL side to the negotiation table. But they have been led in the race by continental rivals Mazemebe for Ovouka’s signature.

The tall defender struggled in his early days in the Ghanaian side but has appeared a revelation in the Ghana league this season with his performances yielding immediate impact on national team call up.

Congo boss Valdo Filho gave Ovouka a call up to the Red Devils before the coronavirus pandemic affected  football across Africa.
