BREAKING NEWS- Asante Kotoko boss Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum resigns from coach role

Asante Kotoko boss Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has reportedly resigned from his post.

The Cape Coast based coach took over the Kotoko coaching job at the beginning of the season leading Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League ultimate last term.

That is Kotoko’s first Ghana Premier League title since the 2013-2014 season after Didi Dramani achieved the mark 8 years ago.

Narteh appears to had a friendly relationship with his employers and making plans for next season with preparations beginning with a pre-season tour abroad.

At the same time, he has been heavily involved in club’s recruitment having reportedly recommended a couple of players ahead of the 2022-2023 season.

On Wednesday 20th July, the former WAFA boss has resigned from duty. The coach had reportedly sent in a letter to resign from his duty.

The Kotoko management has reportedly sat on a decision to accept Narteh’s letter.

But the club is yet to issue official statement as engagement to let the coach rescind decision is ongoing.
