Saudi Arabia clubs set to beat Italian clubs to £40million signing of Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey

Saudi Arabian clubs are set to challenge Italian clubs for the signature of Ghanaian superstar Thomas Partey in the ongoing transfers.

Partey, 30, has been linked with a move away from the Emirate Stadium this summer with Italy one of initial likeliest destinations for the Arsenal midfielder.

The 30-year old joined Arsenal in a £45million deal from Atletico Madrid in 2020 but has seen his future threatened since the arrival of Jorgingho from Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Partey’s uncertain future at Arsenal is further perpetuated by Arsenal move for more enlightened midfielders with Chelsea’s Kai Havertz closing in on a deal (Medicals set for the German) while Arsenal in good position for West Ham star Declan Rice.

It will be a smart move for Thomas Partey to start thinking about his future at Emirates Stadium with the Ghanaian willing to exit North London for a new challenge.

Futball Surgery Sports understands that Italian clubs are ready to offer Thomas Partey the new challenge with AC Milan and Inter Milan the two sides in the run for Partey’s signature.

Though the Milan clubs are yet to contact either Partey or Arsenal for a move but Saudi Arabia sides are believed ready to take a bold step to bring the Black Stars midfielder to the Saudi Pro League.

With major investment in football in Saudi Arabia a national agenda and already seeing a host of world football household names moving to Middle East, Thomas Partey is one of the players expected make such move.

Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Khaleej all keen on the Arsenal midfielder but Italians clubs are still in contention.

It has reported in Metro (UK) that Arsenal will get £40million if Partey decide to join superstars Kairm Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. The midfielder’s Arsenal contract will expire June 30 but Mikel Arteta’s side are willing to let him go.

Partey played a major part in Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge last season but Arteta and sporting director Edu are set to make key changes to the squad.
