Manchester City fight back to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Itihad Stadium

Manchester City welcomed Chelsea to the itihad Stadium on Saturday evening after the International break.  It wasn’t a bad performance from both teams after Chelsea dominating the early stages of the first half. City took over from Chelsea close to the end of first half and punished Frank Lampard’s side.

N’Golo Kante put Chelsea ahead before goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez saw the hosts move up to third and ensured Liverpool didn’t open up a 12-point gap on the Premier League champions.

City’s win brings Chelsea’s six EPL winning streak to an end, City move to third position whiles Chelsea drop to fourth on the log.
