Worry for Chelsea as Frank Lampard confirm he doesn’t know when Kante would return
N’Golo Kante has been instrumental in Chelsea set up ever since joining the club in 2016, but the French International has been limited to few games this season due to injuries.
Kante has always put in outstanding performance this season whenever he man games for the Blues including Chelsea big games against Liverpool in the Super Cup and Premier League.
Kante has disappeared from Frank Lampard team sheets in Chelsea’s last two games and that is a worry not only to Chelsea supporters but to Lampard as well.
We all don’t know when Kante is returning, meaning he will miss Chelsea’s trip to Burnley this Saturday as confirmed by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard. Lamps also confirmed that there is no fix time for Kante’s return.
“I just want him fit. He has played a lot of football for four years. He had a big injury off the back of last season, expressed by Lamps.
“So, I think that maybe he is suffering from that big injury and a little fall out from that, he added.
“I think now it is time to take a small step back just to get his fitness up and be confident that we won’t have a domino effect with small injuries.
“So, there’s no actual time frame” Lamps concluded.
Chelsea face Burnely at Turf Moor in Saturday late kick off. A win for Lampard would meant Chelsea are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.
