Arrows traveled to Nkoloma Stadium to face newly promoted Kansanshi Dynamos- who prior to this game had gone four games without a defeat but two of their most recent games have all ended in a draw.

Going into the game, a defeat would give the bragging rights to second place ZESCO to remain the only unbeaten side in the league.

A win for Arrows would not only draw them leveled against ZESCO in bragging rights but would also help them to maintain their lead on the league log.

The leaders got a flying start against Kansanshi just five minutes into the game after captain Bruce Musakanya convert a penalty sent the away side 1-0 up.

Emmanuel Phiri dragged the game into 1-1 score line in the second half before Musakanya again restored Arrows lead in stoppage time.

Arrow’s two goals against Kansanshi on Thursday send their overall goal tally to 10 making them the second free scoring side in the league so far, falling 4 more goals short of ZESCO’s 14, the most free scoring club in the league.
