Ghana Premier League side King Faisal rubbed in dressing room invasion following defeat at Bechem

Dressing room invasion saw seven King Faisal players rubbed in Ghana Premier League defeat at Bechem United.

The latest reports in the local media this morning indicate, seven King Faisal players had their phones stolen by unknown thieves in their changing room whiles on the pitch honouring their GPL game against Bechem United.

The Hunters nipped on Augustine Okrah’s lone goal to narrowly defeat the ‘Insha Allah’ outfit in week 10 last Sunday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

After the game, according a post made by the club’s deputy Communications Director, Abdul Wadud Osman on his personal Facebook account, the cell phones of their seven players has been sent off after their dressing room was robbed in the course of the game.

The affected players per our checks include Attah Kusi, Enock Morrison, Piud Baffour, goalkeeper Frank Boateng and skipper Richard Akrofi including some two unknown players.

King Faisal FC after the game have officially reported the incident to the Police in Bechem and the match commissioner, James Mornah for an immediate investigations.

The club confirmed our development on their official Facebook handle;

“Even more disappointing was that numerous items such as phones and wallets were stolen from the changing room. Please be vigilant if using Bechem United facilities in future.”

”It Is  7: 50pm and we still find ourselves within the premises of the Bechem Police Station lodging complaint on the incident of theft  that happened in our changing room early on. ‘The police have been very helpful so far.”
