Ghana Premier League outfits Hearts of Oak could seal a deal for former winger Patrick Razak amid wingers return to the GPL. Having appeared as one of the top talents in the Ghana Premier League in last the last four years, Razak left Hearts of Oak for Horoya Athletic Club in 2018.

Hearts who knee signing Razak for a second time have been exploring all opportunities in the transfer window to strengthen their squad in a quest to resurface in top flight football in Ghana and African.

Hearts have already brought in quality to bolster their defense, midfielder and they could add Patrick Razak to their attacking lines.

The winger remains a free agent after terminating his contract with Guinea giants Horoya Athletic Club last year November and is believed to be monitored by Hearts of Oak having been revealed by player’s agent Nana Kumi.

“Patrick Razak is now back in his homeland (Ghana).” He was nursing an injury he suffered during his stint at Horoya AC. He has now recovered from the injury. Currently, the winger is training personally due to COVID-19. Razak is a free agent now. He has no contract with the Guinean Club (Horoya AC) or any other club. Accra Hearts of Oak showed interest in him, but nothing has been documented as at now, the agent told Kumasi based radio station FOX FM.

The Phobians are prepared to weight their check book in a bid to bring back Razak and may open talks with the player’s representatives in coming days.

The 30-year old winger left Hearts of Oak to the Guinea Premier League in 2018 in a deal that worth a reported fee of $150, 000.

The Ghanaian International failed to find his rhythm in the Guinea outfits as a result terminated his contract last year.

Razak is known for his exploit in big games especially against rivals Asante Kotoko appearing as one player to carry Hearts of Oak to his shoulders in games against Kotoko before he left the Ghana League.

His tremendous former in the league saw the winger earn a call up to Black Stars B and eventually won the 2017 WAFU tournament with Ghana, displaying great in Ghana’s 4-1 humiliating of Nigeria in the final.
