Central African Republic pick first AFCON qualifiers point after 1-1 home draw against in Luanda

Central African Republic pick their first point in the ongoing qualifiers after holding Ghana to a 1-1 stalemate at the Estadio 11 de Novembro.

Coach Otto Addo line up relatively a second team for this one maintaining only three players from the last game.

The Black Stars commenced the game on a higher note, firing from all cylinders for the opener but all proved futile in the early stages.
Ghana dominated every aspect of the game, dictating the pace and pattern but the host will always love to stay in their half and watch their opponents play.
Kudus Mohammed opened the scoring account on the 17th minute, Kudus Mohammed combined nicely with Osman Bukari to curl awesomely into the net to put Ghana in front.
The Wild Beast finally got themselves back on level terms on the 40th minute through Karl Namnganda  who struck into the net  beautifully after receiving a decent pass from midfield.
In the second half, the homesters broke on with a chance initiated by Thibault Ban in the early stages but fired wide for a restart.
Jonathan Mensah on the 55th minute sustained what looked like a horrific injury after colliding with an opposing player and was taken to the hospital.
On the 71st minute, Andy Yiadom made a blistering run on the flanks and sent a decent cross but met no connection at far post and went out.
Kudus Mohammed in the dying embers controlled a pass in the box, turned nicely but shot wide for goalkick.
