Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie plays key role in Sivasspor win against Galatasaray
Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie played an important role in Sivasspor’s 1-0 win over Galatasaray in the Turkish top-flight on Monday night.
Despite having the fewest touches (25) amongst his teammates, Cofie was judicious in his use of the ball with a passing accuracy of 100%.
He made the highest number of interceptions (5) on the field with a dribble success of 5. Cofie was involved in 11 duels, made two tackles and two fouls.
The 30-year-old’s selection for such a crucial game against a strong opposition speaks volumes highlights his importance to the team.
Sivasspor won through Faycal Fajr in the 80th minute to put them a point below Galatasaray who are 9th on the league table.
