Sassuolo manager Emmanuel Cascione speaks highly of Ghanaian teen Justin Kumi
Sassuolo U-18 coach Emmanuel Cascione has praised teen Justin Kumi for his excellent displays in the Italian youth league.
Kumi over the weekend rescued Sassuolo against Lazio as he equalised in the 1-1 draw at the Mapei Football Center.
“Justin only needs to be disciplined tactically: he is a boy with immense qualities and I’m convinced he will become a great player,” Cascione said.
“Kumi has strength, grit and goal attitude, and he is also very humble. Sometimes he overdoes because he feels his strength, but that’s not a bad thing: it means that he trusts himself.”
“He has room for improvement and we are here to make him grow.”
The 17-year-old is part of the Italian National U18 team and has played four friendly matches for the side.
