Andre Ayew score third goal of the season as Al-Sadd brush aside Al-Shamal 7-2 in Qatar Stars League

Having Al-Sadd white-washed Al-Shamal 7-2 in the Qatar Stars League, Andre Ayew wasn’t shy to have his name on the score sheet striking in the first half on Sunday evening.

Ayew scored in his third successive game for Al-Sadd SC on when the Qatari side battered Al-Shamal 7-2 in the Qatar Stars League.

The exciting attacker got into Xavi Hernandez starting lineup again when Al-Sadd welcomed Al-Shamal in Match-Day four fixture in the Qatar top flight yesterday.

With his team starting very well, their dominant performance saw them take unsurprising 2-1 lead after 13′ minutes into the game.

Two minutes later, Andre Ayew showed good positional play when he latched onto a shot before putting the ball at the back of the net of Al-Shamal to increase the lead for his team.

In a game where Andre Ayew worked his socks off, goals from Ali Assadalla, Yousuf Abdurrisag, Rodrigo Tabata plus a brace from Baghdad Bounedjah and own goal from Mattias Nani saw Al-Sadd SC winning 7-2 at the end of the contest.

Mosel Al-Yazidi and Khalaf Saal AlMalki grabbed the two consolation goals for Al-Shamal. The victory ensures A-Sadd maintains their 100% start to the league season winning all first four games and leads the table with 12 points.

Andre’s strike yesterday is the Ghanaian’s third goal in four games for Al-Sadd since joining from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.
