Real Madrid thrash Osasuna 4-1 to open six points gab off Barcelona on Laliga table

Real Madrid bounce back to winning ways after coming from a goal down to beat Osasuna 1-4 in the Spanish Laliga on Sunday afternoon, and also to complete their five consecutive winning streak in the Laliga.

Madrid were shocked last Thursday with a 3-4 home defeat by Real Sociedad in the quarter-finals of the Spanish Copa del Rey.

But the Los Blancos came back quickly after Unai Garcia had gotten the better of Madrid defense, incurring a powerful header to the bottom right corner, beyond the reach of Courtois to put Ousasuna ahead 14 minutes into the game.

Madrid drew on level, 33’ minutes into the game through Isco before unmarked Sergio Ramos inside the 6-yard box headed home in an empty net to put Madrid ahead five minutes later.

Lucas Vazquez six minutes to full time and Luka Jovic in stoppage time (90+2) struck each to ensure Madrid end the afternoon with emphatic 4-1 win.

They lead the Laliga table with 52 point, six more points above Barcelona who also take on Real Betis in the evening.
