Real Madrid to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if Barcelona succeed in landing Lautaro Martinez

According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are both targeting Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang if a potential deal from both Laliga giants for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez fails.

The Spanish outfits are all interested in signing the Inter Milan striker as the prime transfer target, and have made Aubameyang a second option if they lose out securing the services of the Argentine forward.

Barca knee signing Martinez to replaced Luis Suarez while Real Madrid boss is willing to replace Karim Benzema this summer.

It’s believed that ‘the Messi factor’ could be a determine factor in Martinez’s next destination, meaning the Inter Milan forward is more likely to team up with countryman Messi at Camp Nou.

If Martinez snubs Real Madrid for Barca, Zidane’s side will turn their attention to Arsenal forward Aubameyang as claimed by Evening Standard.

The likelihood that the Gabon striker will leave Arsenal is very high when he has just a year left on his current contract at North London with no signs of contract extension either.

This is a circumstance Arsenal will be forced to cash in on their number source of goals in order to escape earning nothing when Aubameyang turns a free agent at the end of next season.

Aubameyang is ready to quit Emirates amid finding Champions League football and more titles to build his trophy cabinet, and he is understood preferring a move to Barcelona but if Barca succeed in landing Lautaro Martinez, the Gabon super star would have no option to consider a move to Real Madrid, to strip off Benzema’s no.9 shirt at Santiago Bernabeu.
