Tala’a El-Gaish Goal-keeper Mohamed Bassam to join Al Masry
Goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam is set to leave Tala’a El-Gaish ranks as he’s reportedly close to signing for Al Masry.
Bassam has started his football journey in Tala’a El-Gaish youth team ranks, before making it to the first team in 2009.
Since then, he’s made a name for himself as a skilled goalkeeper who helped his team make impressive shows across the years.
In his 13 years with Tala’a El-Gaish, he made 248 appearances, in which he conceded 263 goals and successfully kept 94 clean sheets.
He was also a key factor in Tala’a El-Gaish’s Egyptian Super Cup coronation last year, putting on a heroic performance in the penalty shoot-out against Al Ahly.
According to local reports, Bassam will take on a new challenge in his career starting next season as he’s set to join Al Masry.
Al Masry are currently trying to improve their ranks, having had a rough season in the domestic league, finishing in 13th place.
