Ahly’s bid in signing TP Mazembe forward Jackson Muleka confirm by agent

The agent of TP Mazembe forward Jackson Muleka has confirmed that Al Ahly reached out the Congolese club to sign the The Ravens’ starlet.

It was previously reported that Cairo giants Al Ahly have launched a hefty bid to sign TP Mazembe’s forward Jackson Muleka but it was turned down by the club and the player himself as he aspires to play in Europe.

Muleka is widely considered as one of the most promising strikers on the continent since bursting onto the scene with the Congolese Ligue 1 giants.

“Yes, Al Ahly are the only club to show true and solid interest in signing Muleka. They made contact with the owner of the club, Moise Katumbe,” Muleka’s agent told African Football HQ via Kingfut.

“I am not sure if the President [Moise Katumbe] will sell Jackson Muleka to Al Ahly since he doesn’t do business with his competitors.”

Muleka became the latest forward to be linked to the Red Devils after Mamelodi Sundowns’ Gaston Sirino, whose rumors were quickly debunked.

The 20-year-old has featured for Mazembe in 10 games in the Champions League this season and he got seven goals to his name in this term’s edition.

Having Ahly being turned down in a bid to sign the 20-year-old striker, the Egyptian giants will consider other prospective options.
