Ittihad Alexandria: Egyptian side impose hefty punishment on right back Hesham Salah

Egyptian Premier League side, Ittihad of Alexandria, have imposed a hefty punishment on the first team’s right back Hesham Ismail.

Salah has been a regular starter for Ittihad this season, having played 11 of their 14 games so far, including their last game against Bank Al Ahly.

The game ended in an uneventful 1-1 draw, but it was Salah’s antics that stole the show.

The 24-year-old was seen arguing and fighting with team captain Khaled El-Ghandour on the pitch during the match and was subsequently subbed off in the 71st minute for Abdelghani Mohamed.

As a result, the former Telecom Egypt man was punished by the club, who deducted a large amount from his salary,

The Football Committee’s decision came after the recommendation of the coaching staff led by Emad El-Nahas and an affirmation of the values ​​and principles of our ancient club,” the club wrote in their official statement.
