Sancho could snub Manchester United for Chelsea due to Blues youth policy

Jadon Sancho could snub Manchester United for Chelsea due to Blues’ record of putting faith in youngsters, according to the Express.

Chelsea failed to sign new players in the beginning of this season due to their ban that was imposed by FIFA back in February 2019 for breaching transfer rules for under age players.

This season, Chelsea has depended much on young squad from club’s youth set up. Frank Lampard’s side have given more minutes to players 21 or under this season than any other in the Premier League, and the Dortmund star could be tempted by that.

Sancho is understood to be joining Manchester United and various publications in England have reported that United have already reached agreement with the Dortmund ace.

However, they could be beaten to the signing of 20-year-old by Chelsea due to Blues’ given young players the chance at Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea have been tracking the former Manchester City player, who left the Etihad Stadium for Signal Iduna in 2017, since last season.

The club slowed down once they understood United have reached agreed personnel terms with the winger.

However, the past three days have saw reports consistently linked Chelsea and Sancho together again, and the Blues could be bound to steal the youngster from Manchester United as the 20-year old is impressed with current Chelsea policy for young players.
