Chelsea enter into face with Arsenal for PSG’s free left-back Layvin Kurzawa

Chelsea are planning to sign left-back amid departure of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri from Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.

Frank Lampard’s side have been tracking the likes of FC Porto left-back Alex Telles but it looks the Blue have cool down their interest in the Brazilian defender, Leicester City ace Ben Chiwell and latest Layvin Kurzawa who will leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this season.

Meanwhile, the PSG defender has been linked with a move to Arsenal for the some time now, and according to The Sun, Arsenal are faced with a transfer tussle with their London rivals Chelsea after the Blues reportedly join the race for Kurzawa.

Ben Chilwell is Frank Lampard’s first choice transfer target for his left side of Chelsea defense but Leicester City who are competing with Chelsea for Champions League football next season are looking reluctant to let their price asset leave this summer having slapped £85million price tag to prevent suitors for the English International.

Kurzawa who Arsenal have identified but have failed to reach a deal with the player due to Gunner’s limited budget is considered as Chilwell’s alternative and the Stamford Bridge club could enter into talks with the French Ligue 1 defender.

PSG could reportedly offer their defender a new contract to stay at Parc de Prices next term.

And with Marcos Alonso gradually warming himself into Frank Lampard’s hearts, the Spaniard could have a turn-around in his Chelsea future by staying beyond this season.
