Chelsea knee signing Nigerian forward Osimhen and Brazilian center-back Gabriel as contacts have already began with the French outfits over the two players claimed by Le10Sport.

Osimhen is gradually walking to prominence at Lille since joining the Ligue side from Belgian club RSC Charleroi last summer and has grabbed 18 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for Lille

His display in France has prompted several European clubs of Osimhen’s talent, where AC Milan, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in securing his services.

The Nigerian International is believed not to take any decision about his future but would welcome a move to the Premier League as Lille also knee selling.

And that may include center-back Gabriel who Lille signed for £1.5million from Brazilian side Avai for in 2017 and is now valued at around £30million.

According to reports, the Brazilian has been approached by Everton, and has spoken with boss Carlo Ancelotti leading to the 20-year-old’s visit to the club some weeks ago.

It is understood the defender has held Everton medicals, and the Premier League side have agreement in principle with Lille that would see Gabriel cross the carpet to Merseyside.

However, despite that, the Brazilian is yet to take a final decision, and that open doors for Chelsea to come in.

Meanwhile, speculations about Gabriel’s transfer have been fueled by Lille President Gerard Lopez who last week revealed that the 20-year-old center-back is on track to join a “really big club” when the transfer window opens.

“It’s true that he would like to go and try something else out,” Lopez told Sky Sports.

“We haven’t taken that decision yet, but he’s received a number of offers.

“I feel he’s closer to one club than others, but nothing’s done yet so we’ll see.”

Frank Lampard’s side are reportedly open talks with Lille to cause another ‘WILLIAN’ by snatching Gabriel from Everton after the defender’s medical with the Ancelotti’s side.
