Leicester City to rival Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United for Lille forward Victor Osimhen

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United would be rival by Leicester City in the race to sign Victor Osimhen from Lille in the summer transfer window.

Osimhen has been sought after by the Premier League giants but none of the clubs have been able to make official contacts, may due to the coronavirus pandemic, that has affected almost everything including transfers.

Daily Mail now reports that Leicester City have emerged through the ranks and are among the clubs planning to capture the signature of the Nigerian International.

Leicester consider Osimhen as long term replacement for ageing Jamie Verdy- who has been the club’s most important player in the last two seasons.

Leicester have a huge competition to fight off if they can success in landing the Lille goal-poacher- who recently revealed his admiration for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard’s side have been monitoring the Nigerian forward for some time now in an attempt to bring him to Stamford Bridge to bolster their attack- where Olivier Giroud and Michy Batsuayi are expected to  depart to leave Tammy Abraham as the lone striker.

Manchester United and Arsenal have also planned to sign Osimhen, if for Arsenal in particular, Aubameyang  finally leaves North London. Inter Milan is another club that can affect Leicester’s chances of signing Osimhen.
