Liverpool set to leapfrog Real Madrid to the signing of PSG super star Kylian Mbappe after Jurgen Klopp call

Liverpool have begun the quest to beaten Real Madrid to the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain after Reds boss Klopp contact the French’s father.

Mbappe is the most valuable player in world football and has been scouted by the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Liverpool.

It well understood that Santiago Bernabeu bosses have planned to land 2018 FIFA World Cup winner but have failed on several time to reach agreement with the pacey winger.

Ahead of this summer transfer window, Madrid are believed to making plans to lure the PSG star once and for all as Zinedine Zidane looks poised to offload Gareth Bale to free up funds to embark on Mbappe transfer.

In fact, Bernabeu have long imagined Hazard-Mbappe or Neyamr combination and after succeeding in signing Hazard from Chelsea last summer, it is left with bringing in Mbappe or Neymar to complete their board-room plan.

However, snatching Neymar has been deciphered by Real Madrid as ‘difficult’ given the Brazilian’s sole willingness in returning to Nou Camp, and have set sight on completing a deal for Kylian Mbappe.

Latest reports from Le 10 Sportnow suggest Real Madrid could be whipped in the race to securing the 21-year-old by Liverpool after Klopp makes an important step to French International’s signature.

Liverpool have now contacted Mbappe’s father over a possible switch from Parc des Princes to Anfield this summer claimed by Le 10 Sport.

The Premier League side are reportedly considering an ambitious bid for the France star, who Klopp’s side have to spend close to €225 million ($250.5 million) to sign.

Liverpool knee signing Mbappe as Sadio Mane’s long term replacement. The Senegalese International is believed not be happy at Anfield despite winning the Champion League and FIFA Club World Cup with the Reds last year.

He has been contact by Real Madrid- who wants Mane, if they fail in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe or when he remains in his parent club PSG.

Mane is also reportedly interested in a move to Real Madrid after Klopp believed to supporting Virgil van Dijk to win the Ballon d’Or- award Mane is also willing to lift in his career.
