Chelsea suffer transfer blow as Liverpool make contact for Jude Bellingham deal

Chelsea have been dealt a major blow in their transfer pursuit of Jude Bellingham with Premier League rivals Liverpool having made contact with Borussia Dortmund.

According to Fabrizio Romando, nothing has changed for the Bellingham deal.

Liverpool consider him the main target, having already made contact with Borussia Dortmund — but Real Madrid, Manchester City and also Chelsea remain in the race.

All interested parties are weighing up their books ahead of the January transfer window but nothing much is expected to happen in these camps but summer could set up for a busy transfer activities.

Chelsea have already completed a deal for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku in summer of 2023.
