Ghana Premier League clubs chase six Asante Kotoko players but Ugandan forward Abege and Alex Didi could be shown the Baba Yara exit door

Asante Kotoko have made it two out of two in the 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League after seeing off Eleven Wonders in week 1 and fashionable Legon Cities FC just last Friday.

They may have the quality in-depth that may have translate into their unbeaten run to the start of the Ghana Premier League so far, and some clubs who haven’t began the season so well are interested in  snapping up six Kotoko players- who also haven’t got enough playing time.

According to Kumasi Radio Station Oyerepa FM, Kumasi based King Faisal who are winless from two league games are interested in signing and have requested their city rivals Kotoko to loan out utility man Samuel Frimpong and Evans Owusu to them for the remainder of the season.

Karela United, 11th on the league log have also requested for the loan of midfield duo Kingsley Osei Effah who is yet to make his debut for Kotoko in the league and experienced Martin Antwi.

Legon Cities FC, a place below Karela on the log, who the Porcupine Warriors put three past on Friday night have shown a profound interest in signing Stephen Ayiku Tetteh and Kelvin Andoh on loan.

There are also uncertainties circulating the futures of Ugandan forward George Abege and Ivorian midfielder Alex Didi, who according to reports could be shown the exit door at Baba Yara Stadium permanently.
