Powerful Asante Kotoko winger Augustine Okrah close to making a $50,000 loan move to Turkey

Asante Kotoko winger Agustine Okrah knee on making a loan move worth $50,000 to an unknown club in Turkey this January.

Asante Kotoko snatched Okrah on a free transfer July 2019, and the former Bechem United forward has been a key man at the right and left wing for the Asante Kotoko.

Despite finding his name on the score sheet only ones in Kotoko’s 2019-2020 CAF Inter-Club Competitions, grabbing a fifth minute goal against Etoile de Sahel in the first leg of the Champions League First Round in Kumasi, he was one of the influential figures that drove Kotoko movements on the field with his dribbling and link up plays during the reign of Kotoko in both the Champions League and Confederation Cup.

He has begun Ghana Premier League season well netting his first goal of the season against Legon Cities FC last Friday against at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But an undisclosed club in Turkey have expressed interest in securing a loan move for the winger where the Turkish club is expected to offer Asante Kotoko $50,000 for the initial loan deal with option to make the deal permanent if the winger proves his worth beyond reasonable doubt.

Okrah if completes the move to Turkey, he will remain with the new side until the end of the season, and the player is expected the leave Ghana this week or early next week depending on his travel documents.
