StarTimes to begin Television Coverage for 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League with Hearts of Oak-Dwarfs game in Accra |

StarTimes Ghana begins telecasting the 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League this weekend, three days following winning the Television Broadcasting Rights from the GFA after fight off competition from six TV broadcasting houses including state-owned Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

StarTimes now begins telecasting the league with the game between 2000 CAF Champions League champions Hearts and Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

GFA President Kurt Okraku confirmed the news in an interview with Accra based Radio Station Asempa FM.

“We have nine matches coming up this weekend, with the first one scheduled on Saturday. However, StarsTimes will show live the Hearts of Oak vs Dwarfs game on Sunday.”

In that game, both Hearts and Dwarfs will be hoping to record their first win of the season after both lost their first two league games.
