Edwin Kuffour Asamoah: Midfielder named Player of GPL first round at Berekum Chelsea
Berekum Chelsea have named midfielder, Edwin Kuffour Asamoah as their standout and best performer for the first phase of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The youngster was in a remarkable form for the Bibires in the first round having featured in almost all the matches they played in the first round.
He won four man of the match accolades in all competitions with his blistering and consistent output having banged those accolades against Great Olympics and Asante Kotoko in the league. Also he did same against Unity FC and Bofoakwa Tano in the league cup.
He won this prestigious honour over goalkeeper Obeng Sekyere Gregory, Henry Ansu and experience forward Kofi Owusu having amassed 40% of the total votes casted by the teaming fans.
