Inter Milan and Olivier Giroud agree two and half year deal ahead of January move

There is no doubt that Olivier Giroud would want to leave Chelsea after simply been considered as a third choice option to Abraham and Michy Batshuayi in the pegging-order of Chelsea’s striking department.

The French International has been linked with many clubs this season following his limited playing time under Frank Lampard, but Antonio Conte’s inter Milan now looks the favorites to snatch Giroud this January.

According to latest reports, Inter Milan have reached agreement with the Chelsea forward over a two and half year contract which will see the former Arsenal travel Italy to have his medical if Inter and Chelsea are able to sort out their differences.

Inter are believed to open talks with Chelsea for Giroud. The reports further suggest that Chelsea are not ready to concede to any small fee for the World Cup winner.

This means Inter will have to battle in settling a deal with Frank Lampard’s side despite agreeing a two and half year contract with Giroud.
