Yusif Basigi named new head coach of Ghana Black Princesses

Yusif Basigi has been appointed as the been head coach of the Black Princesses, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.

The Sekondi Hasaccas head coach has been reappointed to manage the Black Princesses after leaving in 2020.

He will lead the Black Princesses at the 2023 All African Games in Accra.
Basigi was an assistant coach for the Black Queens from 2011- 2013 before moving up the ladder to be the head coach from 2013-17.
Yusif Basigi led the Black Queens to win historic gold at the African Games in 2015.
Nana Adarkwa (Ampem Dakoa Ladies coach) and Anita Wiredu will be his assistants.
Yusif Basigi has won four Ghana Women’s Premier League titles with Hasaccas Ladies, and also, led them to place 2nd at the first edition of the CAF Womens Champions League in Egypt.
