Guinea Caf Champions League side CI Kamsar complete signing of Sampson Eduku from Ghanaian side Samartex

Guinea Caf Champions League participants for 2021/2022 season has completed the signing of Ghanaian International Sampson Eduku after announcing a deal for the young sensation on Wednesday from Ghanaian lower side FC Samartex.

The 25-year old started his career at Second Eleven Wise in 2013 where he netted 9 goals in 15 Ghana national division one games in the 2013-2014 season.

Eduku rose to prominence in his career between 2014-2017 after grabbing 31 goals out of 71 league games at Karela United as he was linked with a move to Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season.

With a move to Ghana’s top two clubs breaking down, Eduku joined Elmina Sharks but was limited to small playing time while netting two times in seven games in 2019. At the beginning of 2019-2020 season, Eduku moved to Second Hasaacas in Ghana’s Division One finding back of the net 6 times in 10 league games.

Eduku later completed a surprise move from Hasaacas to FC Samartex in October 2020 and has never looked back in his new club helping them qualify for newly introduced Ghana Division One Super Cup.

Eduku helped Samartex to placed third in Ghana Division Zone Two and that saw them qualify for the Super Cup tournament that runs from 23 September to 2 October 2021.

The forward’s impressive performance saw Tanzanian side Biashara United scouted Eduku in the second round of the National Division One League but Kamsar have now won the race for the Ghanaian’s signature.

The Guinean side placed second to Horoya Athletic Club on the Premier League table that put them within the ranks for Caf Champions League football next season which starts early next month.

Kamsar have been paired with Hearts of Oak in the preliminary stage. Coincidentally, their reinforcement to face the Ghana Premier League champions have been in Ghana after announcing a deal for former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong.

Before that they had sign another Kotoko star Martin Antwi and began an inquiry last two weeks to add up to the Ghanaian contingent at Kamsar.

After agreeing a deal with Samartex where Amos Frimpong’s entourage played a crucial role, Kamsar confirmed the signing of Eduku on Wednesday afternoon.

The former Elmina Sharks forward has agreed to a one-year agreement with Kamsar FC with the option for extension.
