Brighton & Hove Albion interested in signing Black Stars captain Andre Ayew in January

Brighton haven’t done so well in the EPL this season placing 13th with 20 points in 17 game so far, and they have managed to score 21 goals in the league.

Swansea City forward and Black Stars captain Andre Ayew have been tipped to joining the Premiership side, and move for the Ghanaian next month is on Brighton’s card, according to latest reports.

The Ghanaian forward has contributed to Swans’ 10th place on the Championship log grabbing 7 goals in 20 Championship games, and his performance has put him high on the shopping list of some clubs in England.

First is Leeds United, who earlier this week are believed to preparing to table a sum of Million Pounds for Andre Ayew ahead of a possible summer move, and the latest is Brighton who are evaluating the Ghanaian’s situation this January.

Brighton boss Graham Potter who managed Andre Ayew at Swans before the Black Stars winger was loaned out to Turkish side Fenerbahce last season fancy the work done by the 30 year forward at the Liberty Stadium, and is tipped to back the deal.

Meanwhile, Andrew Ayew has open up about his intent of not wanting a move away from Swansea City this January.

“I’m not thinking at all about that (leaving Swansea City),” Andre was quoted saying as per BBC after Swans’ 3-1 victory over Middlesbrough. The Black Stars captain grabbed two goals in the game.

“I’m here (at Swans), I’m 100% here just thinking about the next game, that’s Luton. That’s speculation, that’s what people are going to say.

“I’m just focusing on what’s ahead of me and I’m happy here so that’s not something I think about.”
