Turkish side Gaziantep to make January swoop on Phoenix Rising for the services of former Berekum Chelsea and TP Mazembe forward Solomon Asante.

Gaziantep of Turkey is preparing a €5M deal to lure Ghanaian firing attacker Solomon Asante from United Soccer League (USL) Championship outfits Phoenix this January as claimed by Ghana Soccer Net.

Solomon Asante was one of the key performers for Phoenix Rising’s triumph in the just ended USL Championship season- Western Conference- grabbing 22 goals and making 17 assists in 34 games.

Asante won the Golden Boot, Most Valuable Player, Players’ Player of the year and snatching goal of the season awards at the end of the 2019 season in the USL Championship.

His escalating performance has attracted clubs not only  in the Major League Soccer and USL but across Europe as a whole.

Turkey side Gaziantep is the latest club to be linked with the Black Stars forward as it is believed that Gaziantep have tabled €5M to secure Solomon Asante from the USL Championship side this January.

Though the deal looks appealing to the USL side, they are not willing sell their price asset for that amount in the coming transfer window, which they can get the chance to selling Asante for big money in summer rather.
