ASANTE KOTOKO: Bechem United striker Yaw Annor confirms Kotoko interest

Bechem United attacker Yaw Annor has confirmed interest from Asante Kotoko to land him at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Annor has been associated with a move to Kotoko for the past two transfer windows where the attacker even involved trials with the Kumasi based club during pre-season before he joined Bechem United beginning of the season.

It was earlier reported that Kotoko knee signing the forward in the ongoing transfer window which there was high level of uncertainty when non have given update of the rumour. However, the Fuenlabrada striker has now confirmed Kotoko interest in securing his signature.

“Yes, it’s true Kotoko have shown interest but I have left everything to my club [Bechem United],”

“I am a player and should all go well, I will gladly join them, am very sure I can secure a starting spot should I join them, the ball is now in the court of Bechem and Kotoko.”

Kotoko is currently facing so many administrative and managerial problems after FIFA recently began disciplinary proceedings against the Ghana Premier League side for breaching FIFA/Court of Arbitration for Sports provision (failing to pay Esperance compensation of former striker Emmanuel Clottey).

The club have been mandated to provide position on the new FIFA ruling- proof that they have paid Esperance the compensation or account for reason why they have not able to pay the Tunisian giants- before the matter is finally submitted to the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA early next month (6th April, 2020) for the necessarily sanctions.

Despite this, Kotoko are prepared to enter into the transfer market to sign top quality player to bolster their squad.

They are working to bring in Bechem United duo Moro Salifu and Yaw Annor to the Garden City. They have already completed the signing of Kwame Opoku from Lower Division side Nkoranza Warriors- who is tipped as long term replacement for Burkina Faso International Songne Yacouba- who is on the verge of leaving Asante Kotoko.
