OLLENU ASHITEY confirms a move to Ghana Premier League side Techiman Eleven Wonders

Ghana Premier League duo Kotoko and Hearts former winger Ollenu Ashitey has confirmed his move to Premier League side Eleven Wonders after completing a success negotiations with the Techiman based side.

The pacey winger has struggled climbing the ladder to top-flight football in Ghana since departing Asante Kotoko back in 2017.

He recently held trials with Aduana Stars, Ash Gold and Great Olympics in order to get a deal done but failed to find the rhythm at Dormaa and Obuasi.

He later completed a move to Olympics, making only two Ghana Premier League appearances this season.

Before the Ghana Premier League was halted, Ollenu, 25, and Eleven wonders found themselves on the negotiation table but the suspension of the season slow down happenings.

It is understood that the former Hearts of Oak midfielder finally agreed deal to sign contract at Wonders early last week, before officially signing a year deal on Thursday with option to extend the contract depending on Ollenu meeting initial agreement terms.

”It’s true I have signed for Eleven Wonders, that was last week Thursday,” Ollenu told ghanasportspage.com.

”The deal is about an agreement. I will say it’s a one year deal. I will help them to finish the second round of the league, after that the contract would be reviewed.”

The 25-year-old started a brighter juvenile career at Hearts youth side and eventually broke into the first team to establish himself as a regular man.

In 2017, he switched camp from the Accra Sports Stadium to Baba Yara to lift the 2017 MTN FA Cup title before leaving Kotoko just a year after.
